Business Cards and Matching Pieces

Two days ago, or what feels like an eternity in the past, Joy, a fellow blogger/teacher posted about creating business cards at http://colorinmypiano.com/2013/04/22/my-new-business-cards/

She inspired me to refresh my business cards, which by now have outdated information, have NO connection visually to the studio website, and are either too cluttery or sorely lacking vital information.

If you’re interested in creating business cards of your own (you can also use the templates they have, though I started from scratch), I’d love for you to reach the site by clicking on the following page link (you get 10% off your first order, and I do receive a little bonus as well toward a future order after you place an order with the promo code the link includes at checkout)… http://www.moo.com/share/zccgys

I did my research on the company she used… and what better source than a teacher who is pleased?  :)  Just to make sure I felt good about investing my time and energy into the daunting project, I checked out the following site for reviews (it’s rare to see THAT many great reviews, written by pleased customers from around the world)… http://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.moo.com

In all, I probably have spent close to 10-15 hours working on the card design (and a few other items to match), using the theme here on my site.  Most of that time was on tweaking the settings, making sure things lined up, catching a TYPO last minute!, and arguing with myself over the quantity to purchase.  Life is full of decisions – too many decisions to spend as much time on this as I did, but it was definitely great fun.  :)

Included are a few photos of the items.  Let me know what you think, and if you’d like to have some to give to interested students, I’d be honored to send some your way when they arrive!  :)

In only a couple short weeks, they will arrive – and I’ll begin the transformation of all the studio logos.  Thank you for your support and for allowing me to be far too excited!  :)

If you see little odd white edges either around the rectangular or circle photos (or blurry photos/words), it’s only because I took screen shots of the items coming.  :)  Those “less than perfect” issues won’t actually be part of what arrives.  Each photo has a caption describing the function of the individual item.  Let me know what you think.  You’ll be able to enter the full gallery by clicking on an individual photo, or just enjoy the explanations/comments below each one.  Thanks!

    • I am VERY excited for the things to arrive. It will come in handy, that the website saves your projects for future ordering. :) Thanks for bringing it to the attention of your fellow teachers. :D

  1. I can’t get over your new studio name and the fabulous business cards. Well done little daughter ;-)

Ps- is there a way I can select different signatures on my iPhone? I normally delete my business one before sending … hmm

    Have a great day! Charlie

    • Thanks, Dad! :)

It was the enthusiasm I got from you, Mom, and Emma that encouraged me to jump in and just do it. I’ve loved the theme from the beginning, but tying it in with correspondence just seemed the perfect way to go. Now on to creating letterhead and putting the logo on invoices, etc.

      Thank you, thank you! :)

As far as the iphone signatures, will definitely need to look into that. Do you mean for comments here? We’ll investigate. :) I don’t believe it allows you to do that here because it doesn’t function the same as email, but in your phone, you can go to “Settings”, “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”, then scroll down about half way to “Signature”. It will allow you to update/edit the signatures of any accounts coming directly to your phone, rather than being forwarded through another email. I can’t set business signatures for my phone, because all my business emails forward to one email for ease of handling. But I think yours might be set up differently than mine – with your emails coming directly into your phone rather than through a 3rd party.

If anyone knows how that can be done, please let us know! :)
